Helping our Communities

The Central Rural Electric Foundation is a charitable organization that distributes funds to needy individuals and businesses throughout the communities within the Central Rural Electric Cooperative service territory.

To be our most effective, the Central Rural Electric Foundation must focus it efforts on specific areas of interest. The areas of interest are: Health Care, Disaster Relief, Personal Need and Education.

Stillwater Children's Museum receives grant

The Central Rural Electric Cooperative Foundation recently awarded Stillwater Children’s Museum a $991 grant.

The Central Rural Electric Cooperative Foundation recently awarded Freedom Restoration Ministries located in Agra, Okla. a $1,800 grant for the six months worth of groceries.

Luther Elementary School Receives Grant

The Central Rural Electric Foundation recently awarded Luther Elementary School a grant for $3,000 to help fund “Play from the Heart,” a playground renovation project developed by teachers at Luther Elementary School.

Payne County 4-H Receives Grant

The Central Rural Electric Foundation recently awarded Payne County 4-H a grant of $1,659 to help with various 4-H projects.

Smart Start Payne County Receives Grant

The Central Rural Electric Foundation recently awarded Smart Start Payne County a grant of $2,500 to aid the Raising a Reader program.
